Location

The Lorentz Center is centrally located within the Bioscience park, a cluster of science buildings of Leiden University. The center occupies the 3rd floor of the Oort building which also houses the Astronomy department on the 4th and 5th floor and the Theoretical and Experimental Physics group of the Physics Department (LION) on the 2nd and 1st floor. Several groups of the Physics and Astronomy department are located in the Huygens Laboratory which is connected to the Oort building by a walkway. The Mathematics and Computer Science departments are located across the street from the Oort building.
