    CECAM-Lorentz winner 2018

In the summer of 2017 CECAM and the Lorentz Center invited researchers to apply for the fifth annual CECAM-Lorentz workshop. We are happy to announce that we have selected a winner of the competition.

The CECAM-Lorentz program hosts leading-edge workshops in computational simulation and modelling and its applications. This year we encouraged applications at the intersection between molecular simulations and the areas of big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The winning proposal is:

'Integrating Molecular Simulation with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence for Advanced Material Design'
by professors Faraji, Marrink, Noe and Taatgen.

This proposal was very well received by the evaluation panel and we are pleased that we can include such a high quality, challenging, and interesting workshop in our program.

The workshop will be held from 8 - 12 October 2018, at the venue Lorentz Center@Snellius in Leiden, The Netherlands.
