Development and Dissemination of iCBT for Youth
    from 9 Oct 2017 through 11 Oct 2017

This workshop aims to open a discussion about how academics and clinicians can best develop, evaluate and disseminate internet cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT) for anxiety and depression in youth and create a framework for how digital mental health innovation can be approached internationally. The workshop will bring together a dedicated group of 25 experts in the digital mental health field to (i) formulate a set of guidelines outlining the issues in development, dissemination, evaluation and engagement in iCBT for anxiety and depression in youth, alongside associated recommendations for research and practice, (ii) subsequently publish a position paper that can be used as a guide for best practice in development and disseminate of iCBT for anxiety and depression in youth, and (iii) develop collaborations reflected in future papers, grant proposals and research projects.

The workshop will cover 4 main topics over 3 days; approaches to development of iCBT, evaluation of iCBT, engagement in iCBT, and dissemination of iCBT. In order to retain a clear focus and facilitate future collaborations, these topics will be considered specifically in relation to anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. The workshop will involve a mixture of talks by key experts in each area followed by discussion time as a whole group and small breakout group tasks and discussion, to maximize the input and expert opinion of all attendees.  Each day will end with time for writing.
