Dark Matter on the Smallest Scales
    from 4 Apr 2016 through 8 Apr 2016

This workshop aims to bring together researchers working on low-mass dark matter haloes from both an observational and numerical perspective. With the recent detections of new satellite galaxies found around the Milky Way and at higher redshifts with gravitational lensing, and due to the advances made in simulations, the time has come to re-address several astrophysical questions about the formation and evolution of dwarf galaxies, and to devise a unified model to describe the dark matter halo mass function both locally and its evolution with redshift. During this workshop, several research teams will work together to tackle these issues and to define the important research goals where progress can be made over the next few years.
