Monday

09:00 – 09:45     Welcome coffee

09:45 – 10:00     Opening by Lorentz Center staff

10:00 – 10:15     Workshop organizers explain workshop planning, main topics and goals.

10:15 – 11:15      Invited speakers (3 x 20 minutes).

16:30 – 17:30      Open plenary discussion on topics, questions and ideas triggered by the talks of today (moderated by a psychologist, a neuroscientist and a computer scientist) ending with signing up for workgroups (to guide the discussion, possible clusters of topics have been prepared in the way as mentioned in our reply).

17:30                    Wine and cheese.

 

Tuesday

09:00 – 10:00     Posters, information market and coffee.

10:00 – 12:00      Working in groups (with breaks, group size around 5 persons) on topics identified during the preparation of the workshop and the plenary discussion of the previous day.

12:00 – 13:30     Lunch.

13:30 – 16:00     Working in groups (with breaks, group size around 5 persons).

16:00 – 17:00      Presentation and discussion of workgroup results (moderated by a psychologist, a neuroscientist and a computer scientist) ending with setting the topics and workgroups for the next day and signing up for workgroups for next day.

 

Wednesday

09:00 – 10:00     Posters, information market and coffee.

10:00 – 12:00      Working in groups (with breaks, groups size around 5 persons) on topics identified during the preparation of the workshop and the plenary discussion of the previous day.

12:00 – 13:30     Lunch.

13:30 – 16:00     Working in groups (with breaks, groups size around 5 persons).

16:00 – 17:00      Presentation and discussion of workgroup results (moderated by a psychologist, a neuroscientist and a computer scientist) ending with setting the topics and workgroups for the next day and signing up for workgroups for next day.

17:30 – 17:30      Coffee / tea break

17:00 – 18:00      Bus to boat

18:00 – 22:00     Boat and dinner

22:00 – 22:30     Bus back to hotel, Lorentz Center and Leiden Central station

 

Thursday

09:00 – 10:00     Posters, information market and coffee.

10:00 – 12:00      Working in groups (with breaks, groups size around 5 persons) on topics identified during the preparation of the workshop and the plenary discussion of the previous day.

12:00 – 13:30     Lunch.

13:30 – 16:00     Working in groups (with breaks, groups size around 5 persons).

Friday

09:00 – 10:00     Posters, information market and coffee.

10:00 – 12:00      Plenary discussion of results and next steps, including roadmap structure and intended publication venue + deadline.

12:00 – 13:30     Lunch

13:30 – 14:30      Division of work for writing the publication/roadmap. Fixing of roadmap authors per section (experience with writing complex, multidisciplinary papers has learned us that one has to set the responsibilities and expectations for contributions as soon as possible).

14:30 – 15:30     Closing remarks
