In April 2025, the whole Lorentz Center moved into our new venue on the second floor of the Snellius building and received a third facility called rho. Our new place is a present from Leiden University to the research community. Now we need your help to make truly feel like your home.
The common rooms at the Lorentz Center are the social heart of every workshop. They're the informal spaces that spark connection, creativity, and collaboration.
We have reused as much as we could, but we need comfortable, functional furniture to support long days of deep thought and interaction. We’re missing whiteboards, coffee machines, and storage cabinets and rho also needs proper furnishing to meet the high standards that you know of us.
For this purpose, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Your donation helps us make these spaces truly welcoming and effective for everyone who walks in. Your support will be greatly appreciated by all visitors of the Lorentz Center; that is you!
