This workshop brings together PTA, VLBI, and ISM experts to link our methods and data products more tightly, benefitting each field simultaneously by tackling shared bottlenecks.
By sharpening pulsar distances and geometry and improving how we model time-variable propagation effects, we will advance pulsar and ISM science and strengthen nanohertz gravitational-wave studies, including better localisation of supermassive black hole binaries and tighter constraints on their properties.
