The objective of our workshop is to address the challenges impacting the use of solar and heliospheric radio observations. Our team consists of radio-data experts and software developers with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Team members will work alongside each other in an interactive, hands-on setting geared towards encouraging discussions and facilitating the development of software tools. We aim to identify and catalogue the various sources of spectroscopic radio observations, the different formats of the datasets, existing software tools used by the community (or lack thereof), as well as develop new software to fill gaps in current capabilities. We will produce a public catalogue of resources and data formats, new tools for inclusion in open-source libraries (within the SunPy ecosystem) with appropriate documentation, as well as share our recommendations with the rest of the community.
