eScience Center - Lorentz Competition twin winners

The proposals 'The Dietary Digital twin (DDtwin)' and 'Digital Bastards for a Climate Resilient Delta' are the winners of the eScience Center - Lorentz Competition 2022.

Earlier this year the Lorentz Center and the Netherlands eScience Center invited researchers to join the eScience Center - Lorentz Competition 2022 and to apply for a leading-edge workshop on Digital Twins. The workshop should bring together researchers and experts from the academic community and the public/ private sector.

The field of competing plans was very strong, so strong in fact that we wanted and succeeded to secure resources for two winners. So you have a 'twin' laureate:

The Dietary Digital twin (DDtwin)
Ilja Arts
Natal van Riel
Lydia Afman
Alwine Kardinaal
Ronald Visschers
Sarah Berry

Digital Bastards for a Climate Resilient Delta
Femke Vossenpoel
Stef Lhermitte
Rolf Hut
Marjolijn Haasnootu
Xiaoxiang Zhu

Venue and contact

We look forward to host this intriguing and challenging workshops next year at the Lorentz Center.

The workshop 'Your Dietary Digital twin (DDtwin)' will be held 13 -17 February 2023 at our Snellius venue in Leiden, The Netherlands.
The workshop 'Digital Bastards for a Climate Resilient Delta' will be held 6 - 10 November 2023, at our Snellius venue as well.

The Lorentz Center and the Netherlands eScience Center thank all applicants who took the time to submit their proposal. For more information about the eScience Center - Lorentz Competition and to stay connected about future opportunities, please visit the website.
