Description and aim

The aim of the workshop is to quantify the morphology of galaxies in astronomical imaging. At present, there are many different ways to express galaxy appearance in a few numbers. In view of the coming large surveys with EUCLID, LSST, etc., how will we qualify the morphology of galaxies? How can it be calibrated from simulations? Can we share our morphometrics codes effectively?
