Description and aim

One of the outstanding problems of Modern Cosmology is the observed accelerated expansion of the Universe today. A possible explanation is that of modified gravity, where deviations from standard gravity are screened in the solar system. A big challenge for this class of theories is their effect on structure formation, on the comic microwave background and other astrophysical observations. The workshop will address outstanding issues for both linear and nonlinear scales. With major surveys like BOSS and Euclid, there will be unprecedented data available to test this class of theories. One of the major goals of the workshop is to come up with a roadmap for future cosmological surveys in their search for modified gravity.
