Peer nominations are a standard and reliable method for assessing behaviors, relationships, status, and social networks within groups (e.g., classrooms, work units). In peer nomination methodology, participants choose, vote for, or nominate others in response to specific questions. This makes peer nomination methodology unique, and the collection of peer nominations cannot be handled by "ordinary" survey software.
For this purpose, the workshop organizers have developed a sustainable and user-friendly open-source software solution. This workshop will focus on the use and evaluation of this software. The specific aims of the workshop are to (1) set up and train a solid user and maintainer community, (2) get feedback from users, and (3) facilitate standardization in the field of peer nomination measurements.
