Venue description
Lorentz Center rho is a venue for up to 30 participants that includes:
- Lecture room for up to 30 participants, equipped with audiovisual equipment, a beamer, blackboard, flip chart, and movable furniture.
- Four breakout rooms, two of which have screens and audiovisual equipment.
- Common room: relaxing sofas, tables and kitchen facilities (coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge, micro-wave oven, plates, cutlery, and glassware are available for your use)
- Coffee, tea, cookies and free WiFi

Service level
The Lorentz Center provides five service packages for your rho event, tailored to your budget and wishes. These range from simple venue rental to organizational support, or even in-house facilitation by LC staff.

Requirements
The events held in the rho venue must support science and research and should align with the philosophy and mission statement of the Lorentz Center. You may consider events such as:
- Project or consortium meetings
- Consortium formation events
- Summer schools
- Collaborative writing sessions (for grants, publications, books, proposals)
- Follow-up meetings after a regular Lorentz Center workshop
- Agenda-building events
- ‘Heidagen’, strategy retreats, team retreats, offsite meetings, or planning sessions.
