This workshop aims to encourage perception-influence design practices for aerospace technologies (e.g. aircraft, drones, wind turbines). State-of-the-art sound quality metrics and psychoacoustic listening experiments provide a better representation of human hearing compared to traditional sound metrics typically used in noise assessment. The goal of this workshop is to develop best practices, guidelines for manufacturers and policymakers, and innovative tools for evaluating noise impact. The workshop will foster collaboration among international experts to enhance future designs and offer societal and industrial benefits.
