The Lorentz Center has three separate venues designed for collaboration and exchange.
In our omega (55 people) and lambda (25 people) venue, we host about 80 peer-reviewed and financially supported Lorentz Center workshops per year. They span all scientific disciplines and can be mono-, inter-, and transdisciplinary in character.
The workshops are selected in one of our regular application rounds (three times a year) or via one of our special calls and collaborations.
As of 2025, the Lorentz Center has a third venue: rho (30 people). This space is available upon request for a broad variety of self-funded academic and scientific events, and with more flexibility in terms of planning and duration. We offer different service packages and prices depending on your needs.
To reach out to a broader public, we organize public events and we share our programming with academic partners who regularly invite participants of our workshops to give a talk at their venue.
